ATCO electric is the supplier of electricity to over half of Alberta Canada. In 2004, ATCO retained Thinking Driver to overhaul their entire Driver safety training program.
This comprehensive initiative included development and delivery of 3 core driver safety Program Elements:
- Vehicle Safety Orientation;
- Safe Backing;
- Driver Observation/evaluation;
In addition, Driver Fatigue awareness, Four Wheel drive and off highway operation and Winter driving/skid recovery training was developed.
ATCO retained Thinking Driver to implement all training
The development included
- Needs analysis and extensive consultations to identify optimum educational modalities and learning outcomes;
- Curriculum design;
- Video shooting editing and voice-overs;
- Website design;
- Manuals
